BASS-4 X 10" BASS UNITS
The development of High End Home Theatre systems has demanded greater performance from Bass units than ever before. Whereas the lowest notes in music go down to around 40Hz, Home Theatre can demand performance at least an octave below that, or around 20Hz. To achieve this objective, System 3 has bern designed to deliver extraordinary bass power and depth. The radiating area of these 10" units combined is equivalent to 2 x14" Sub woofers, or a single massive 21" driver. Using multiple units in this way is more expensive, but dramatically reduces distortion and compression. Coupled with this, these drivers are capable of massive excursion, for high power handling.
MIDRANGE- THE ULTIMATE 6.5"
Almost certainly the best 6.5" midrange driver ever produced. This unit provides superb clarity and finesse over its operating range. No other unit of its size we know of produces such a believeable sound stage with astonishing vocal rendition. Very low distortion, resonance far below its operating range, and and high power handling combined.
HIGH FREQUENCIES-SOFTNESS OF THE SOFT DOME
A unit to compete with the very best in the world, this soft dome tweeter has it all-very low distortion, wide operating range, and crystal clear transient response.
