The Ultimate Loudspeaker
The World's Best Drive Units+ Your Cavity Walls+ Your Room Acoustics Combine with State of the Art software.
When testing the performance of a drive unit under scientific conditions, acoustic engineers will typically carry out what they refer to as a wire test, whereby a drive unit is suspended in a rigid state by wires. This is meant to demonstrate the optimal performance of the unit without interference from its standard housing, namely a boxed loudspeaker unit. Tests undertaken by Walls of Sound, however, show that the performance of a drive unit housed within a wall gives an almost identical level of performance as would be experienced with a wire test.
This means that the drive unit is operating exactly as the signal requires of it. In other words, the wall cavity of your home is the perfect loudspeaker housing!
