This system is a full high-end loudspeaker, which will complement the best ancillary components. This loudspeaker will sound at its best in medium to large rooms, with full scale music and Home Theatre. DOUBLE BASS System 3 uses 4 x 8" bass units, in addition to the midrange, for incredible bass depth and power. BASS UNITS The new Bass units for System 3 have aluminum cones, and create a bass response comparable to a 12" bass speaker on its own. Using two units however increases power handling and efficiency. These will be mounted low down in the cavity wall, and covered for minimum visiblity, but maximum impact. Expect powerful bass down to 22 hz with these units

5" MIDRANGE UNIT The Midrange for System 3 is a superb unit, with smooth response and very low distortion, Freed from the burden of reproducing bass frequencies, the clarity is even better, and it fully deserves the praise it has received from across the world. Mounting will again be just above listening height in the cavity wall, covered neatly by fabric matching the decor.
